Dr. Lilia S. Paz was reunited with her beloved husband Nicasio on September 14th, 2021 at age 77.

Lilia was born to Abelardo and Aurora Sales on March 14th, 1944 in San Juan Batangas, Philippines. The eldest of 9 brothers and sisters, Expedita, Vicky, Maria Luisa, Ariel, Agnes, Adel, Christina and Aureo.

Lilia went to medical school at the University of Santo Thomas and went on to successfully practice in the field of psychiatry for over 30 years.

She married Nicasio in the Philippines in 1969 and moved to New York City in 1973, going on to have two children Robert and Huey.

Lilia was known for her big heart and love of animals. An avid blackjack player, she was known to strike fear in dealers across the Northeast.

After retirement, Lilia enjoyed dining out, rooting for the New York Yankees and seeing her grandchildren.
