What a pleasure it was to have Lilyan a mentor at the Simplicity Pattern Company in the 1960 and 1970's. She set an exemplary example for all the young women who worked with her. Getting to know her better later in life made knowing her that much better. May she now be at peace. My condolences to her family.

Lilyan was a wonderful role model and inspiration to me and the other aspiring young women she helped along the way. She truly embodied the idea that a woman can do anything she puts her mind to. The creation of PCCW is a gift that will be one of her many legacies for generations of women to come. We were entriched by Lilyan's life and are deeply saddened by her death. May her memory be for a blessing.
