Such a tragic loss. I would, through him, vecariously travel the globe. He has become such a beloved figure on and off TV that he will be sorely missed by so many. I hope that he is at peace.

Although I never met you, I enjoyed watching some of your well-crafted shows. Despite your physical absence, I hope your family, friends and fans feel your spiritual presence forever. Before leaving us, you undertook your last culinary journey to France, your ancestors' land. As a French person living in the States, your ability to transcend cultures through tasting new foods and meeting numerous people connects me to your kind soul, to diversity and to France. Anthony Bourdain, I never knew you, but I absolutely loved your artistic soul and wonderful smile and laugh. What a talented man! Your shows have been a GIFT to watch.
