I simply liked the he combined history, culture, with humbleness and humanity as well as a good reasons to try different food. I wonder if National Geographic magazine has an article written about him?

I loved watching him.The food was nice but he was the main course.Never got sick of his tough humor.Truly a tragedy,he will be missed.

How sad for him, his partner, his daughter, and all that loved him so much. He shall be missed by those of us, that have for YEARS been working in the culinary arts, as we gleaned and reaped the benefit of his vast experience and knowledge. He was our "food pal", our daring mentor, and a freshness to our everyday life of FOOD! He was, and STILL is, so very special. He is a ledgend
